I just did that.... works fine, but needs a small termcap fix.

dd boot-142.fs to a floppy.

Boot on the floppy, and away you go!

After it comes up, change /etc/ttys in the console line from sun
to sun-ss5, and reboot.

It should run like a charm!  Mine does.  The 1.4.2 port is great!
