well, the sources for what shipped with 1.4.1 are at:

ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.4.1/source/sets/xsrc.tgz

extract to /usr/src

then go to /usr/src/xsrc

and you're there.  I think I left instruction in the PR about how I built
Xsun.  This is a big beast.
