I never said that.
What I said was that it could be nice to have this special kernel
*if I should need it*. At least that is what I intended to say.
In order to test I have to make a serial cable, so I will not
be able to test this until tomorrow.
I will report back when I have tested it.
What I can say, though, is that my cgsix framebuffer did not give me any
decent ouput when I tried it with a wrong type of cable.
Setting the defaults back with my type 4 keyboard fixed that.
