Looks like your HP monitors are fixed sync, sync-on-green.  Getting
a graphics card that syncs on green for the PC isn't too hard, a
Matrox Millenium will do it.  The Millenium II will also.  You also
need to discover the sync rates on the HP monitors, and set up the
XF86Config appropriately.  You won't be able to view the BIOS or
the boot messages, however.  I ran a i386 setup like this for about
a year, I just compiled up a kernel that put its console on a serial
port, that was a good compromise.

I'm not sure if the S3 Trio 64 supports sync on green.  I don't think
that it does...
