it is, but
1) SunOS 4.x C is really old, only K&R C and is IMO useless except to
compile gcc.
2) You can get precompiled gcc for Solaris
so I don't see this as an issue. In fact, its just another reason I like
NetBSD. I don't have to screw around trying to install a real C compiler.
