I ended up having to do a 'make build' in order to get Xsun to successfully
come up, and it also solved a problem with 'su' not working in the snapshot.

I just got burned by this last night -- no pre-built ELF packages for sparc!
I tried installing some 1.4 packages, but dependencies I already had installed
were ELF, so the new packages were unable to find /emul/aout versions of them.
So to install packages safely, you must _always_ use pkgsrc.
