Hmm - I get around 2.8MB/sec reading from a raw partition on
a not particularly fast SCSI disk on an IPX (which should be
pretty close to a sparc2)
dd if=/dev/rsd0a of=/dev/zero bs=64k
and around 4.2MB/sec reading from a Jaz disk on a sparc4...
