I connected an audio-audio/AUI cable for an LX/SS10 to the 26 pin port
and that seemed to work okay (although with just a DEC turn-around plug
stuck on the 15-pin thick, I had no network handy to try).

The web site http://www.sunhelp.org/ which now has this $400/$200 deal
posted top and center mentions an e-mail address of someone to contact
to buy an adaptor cable:

"Need an AUI adapter cable? You can get them for $20 each from Ellery D'Souza."

The person's name is an anchor to a "mailto" address.
