If memory serves me right, the SPARCprinter was a laser printer without a
CPU (that is, the raterization of the printed image and any page
description language interpretation was done by the host CPU). This
interface is likely to be a bit serial or parallel interface to the marking
engine in the laser printer, probably pretty simple.
