For anyone who is interested, the Technical Reference Manual for the S3GX
is now available for anonymous ftp at the following URL:

  ftp://ftp.tadpole.com/pub/pdf/s3gxtrmb.pdf

The file is large (3177Kb), but it does go through a lot of the internals
of the system.  Needless to say, playing around with the internals of your
machine may cause damage, so use any information provided by this manual
with caution.
