In addition to some serious rewhacking of the Qlogic isp, 
I alsh have a kernel that does some slight changes for the
NCR Script Engine HBA to keep it from attempting wide
and sync negotiations and tagged operations on a target
until after autoconf (and the state of the Inquiry
information and Quirks make this known to the HBA).

For the NCR this replaces the post-Inquiry command check
done in the NCR hba driver itself.

I've placed this kernel for the architectures I'd like
to get tested in:
