Subject: SLC cache question

This isn't really related to netbsd, but I figured this would be
a good place to ask.

When I start up my SLC in diagnostic mode, it tests out the cache
and spits out some lines like:

3e0 bad 3e0 bad 3e0 bad
enabling cache

I believe the errors occur in the data area, not the tag area.

Is this a Bad Thing? Is it smart enough to not use bad regions of the
cache? Or, is the cache socketed so I can replace it?
