I compiled a netbsd adapted xcdplayer on my sparc station IPX. It
compiled fine like on NetBSD/i386 and NetBSD/atari, but it doesn't
work!? It always ran into a timeout:

cd0(esp0:5:0): esp0: timed out [ecb 0xf06dc90c (flags 0x3, dleft 42, stat 0)], <state 4, nexus 0xf06dc90c, phase(c 3, p 3), resid 26, msg(q 0,o 0) >
cd0(esp0:5:0): esp0: timed out [ecb 0xf06dc90c (flags 0x43, dleft 42, stat 0)], <state 4, nexus 0xf06dc90c, phase(c 3, p 3), resid 26, msg(q 20,o 0) > AGAIN
esp0: SCSI bus reset
sd0(esp0:3:0): max sync rate 5.00Mb/s
cd0(esp0:5:0): max sync rate 4.23Mb/s

or

cd0(esp0:5:0): esp0: timed out [ecb 0xf06dc8a4 (flags 0x3, dleft 42, stat 0)], <state 4, nexus 0xf06dc8a4, phase(c 3, p 3), resid 26, msg(q 0,o 0) >
cd0(esp0:5:0): esp0: timed out [ecb 0xf06dc8a4 (flags 0x43, dleft 42, stat 0)], <state 4, nexus 0xf06dc8a4, phase(c 3, p 3), resid 26, msg(q 20,o 0) > AGAIN
esp0: SCSI bus reset
sd0(esp0:3:0): max sync rate 5.00Mb/s
cd0(esp0:5:0): max sync rate 4.23Mb/s

Using the CDROM (cd0 at scsibus0 targ 5 lun 0: <TOSHIBA, CD-ROM
XM-3401TA, 3593> SCSI2 5/cdrom removable) for cd9660 disks works fine.

Any help on that?

Markus.
