When quiting vi, the console doesn't clean up nicely, bogus characters
   scroll backwards up the screen, about two screens worth and persist after
   the prompt re-appears.


i've seen this on my cgsix console on my IPX, but not on the bwtwo
on my ELC.  what sort of heads do you have?
