Hello...

Given a Sparc 1 with a external hard drive and a Conner tape changer
[DDS-2 drive with 4 tapes, using 90M tapes]. Every so often, for reasons
which do not make complete sense, I get the following SCSI errors:

elrond# esp0: RESELECT: 0 bytes in FIFO! [intr c, stat 17, step 4, prevphase 3]
Aug 21 21:41:07 elrond /netbsd: esp0: RESELECT: 0 bytes in FIFO! [intr c, stat 17, step 4, prevphase 3]
Aug 21 21:41:07 elrond /netbsd: esp0: RESELECT: 0 bytes in FIFO! [intr c, stat 17, step 4, prevphase 3]
st0(esp0:6:0): unit attention, data = 00 00 00 00 29 00 00 00 00 00
Aug 21 21:41:08 elrond /netbsd: st0(esp0:6:0): unit attention, data = 00 00 00 00 29 00 00 00 00 00
Aug 21 21:41:08 elrond /netbsd: st0(esp0:6:0): unit attention, data = 00 00 00 00 29 00 00 00 00 00

Any interpretation would be appreciated [and also how one might figure it
out themselves]. I am using the stock options on the esp driver, so
reselects should be enabled for the device.

On a slightly related topic, if one is using a DDS-2 drive and using
'dump', what are the proper values for blocksize, length, density, etc...

[I am trying -d 61000 -b 512 with reasonable success, but am not sure this
is best]

Thanks...
