Hi,

I need some SPARC/*BSD gurus. I'm planning to reactivate some old SPARC with
Net or OpenBSD. I've installed NetBSD 1.2/1.2.1 and OpenBSD 2.1 on SS 1+ but
haven't on pretty good SS 10 (finnally I did manage to do it manually
using local CD-ROM (I could not use install baceuse it had some problem with 
mounting cd0a as 'cd9660' - I did not check why so far). Now I have system
and X11 ready-to-work but not networking.

The problem is my net adapter, build-in on motherboard. After I try to do:

# ifconfig le0 10.0.0.10

I have such a response:

le0: memory eror
le0: card failed to initialize
Lance DMA error, see your doctor!
ledma0: error: csr=a0400012 <ERR,IEN>

This message is the same on Net and OpenBSD so the problem concerns both.
I did even try to point what kind od medium I'm using by adding link0 -link1
(UTP) but it does not help.

I did test-net from OpenROM and have a success message for UTP transport.
I have also medium recognition set as 'true' in it. Previosly this machine
run Solaris 2.5.1 and 2.6 Beta w/o problems.

Huh that's it ... anyone of you had that problem ??? What is so special with my 
SS10 ???

I have external Sbut Network adapter but I am not sure how to define slot in
kernel configuration file.

Sorry for so many words. I'll be waiting for any hints how to solve this 
problem. If you need more debugginf information i'll send it for sure.
