Hi again,
After playing around some more with these machines, it seems that
the serial ports on ipc/ipx do not work at all, whether running
with or without keyboard. Neither ttya nor ttyb work, although they
do echo what is being sent to them. And ttya works fine as console
until the kernel is up and running. This is with the same binaries,
libs and kernel as the ELC that has no problem with these issues at
all. /etc/ttys has the ports turned on, off course.
Who is running NetBSD on an IPX/IPC and has the same problems? And if
not, what am I doing wrong?
I really need that serial connection, because then I can ppp between the
IPX (with floppy drive) and my ELC (with UTP internet-connection).
Regards, Paul.
