I've just recently switched over from SunOS 4.1.3 to NetBSD 1.2.1, a
very happy and event-free switch! :)
I have two quick questions, perhaps someone can answer.
#1 is:
Apr 7 08:31:19 ozymandias /netbsd: real mem = 25055232
Apr 7 08:31:19 ozymandias /netbsd: avail mem = 21893120
Apr 7 08:31:20 ozymandias /netbsd: using 305 buffers containing
1249280 bytes of memory
Here is what I have for memory on boot. Now, is this correct? Why do
I claim only 12M of memory here, when I've got ~22M available? Am I
reading this wrong, or is this something I need to configure?
#2 is:
I can't find the kernel sources anywhere on ftp.netbsd.org. Can
someone point me in the right direction, or at least tell me what I
can do with files that end in .aa, .ab, .ac, etc? Those are all I
seem to be able to find.
Thanks
Patrick
