Did you ever finish the benchmark comparisons of Solaris and NetBSD?  I never 
saw them on the mailing list, and I forgot about this until I posted to 
comp.unix.solaris regarding what I'd heard about "register window clearing 
making Solaris slow", and a Sun engineer challenged me on it, so I went through 
the entire thread, and saw your post again.  So did you?  I'm quite curious what 
the results were...
