OK... I tried again this morning to load base.tar.gz (from
1.2) onto my SMD drive, and the kernel panic'd at the same place
(roughly) with the same panic --- duplicate vnode. The trace is:
_ffs_valloc()
_ufs_mkdir()
_sys_mkdir()
_syscall()
_kernel_text()
Now... does anyone know what's going wrong? Is there some
critial date for the SMD support? I had several of the watchdog
resets this time. Does that affect things?
