i tried to upgrade again recently. i had the same zs problems
as i rebooted about a month ago. i also was having "random
lossage" (core dumps, cc failing in non repeatable ways, etc).

in the end, i changed two things to get a working system:

	(a) reverted the resource change pk made on 19961112.

	(b) set nbuf=128 and bufpages=512 in my kernel.

i have this feeling that it was the MAXBSIZE change that (b)
works around. someone else reported that their kernel broke
on novemeber 3:

Change MAXBSIZE back to MAXPHYS, fixes PR #1718, from cgd@netbsd.org.

pk?
