There were more then one pppd's on the machine I was dialing to, so a 
different one worked fine.
But now that I can dialup and keep ppp running, it doesn't seem to 
recognize the address.
I tried with Netscape, and it kept telling me it couldn't find the DNS.
Is there some file that I need to change something or add something to so 
that programs will recognize that PPP is running, and which serial 
connection it's running through? and what address it is connecting to?
Seems that I am missing something.
I used telnet also, but the only sites I could get to was the one I 
dialed up to, using the address it gave in ppp.
Any ideas?
