Subject: Xserver and Xdm woes, #2.

I'm expanding the number of lists on this since I'm having
this problem on both platforms --- I have a Sun3/260 and a Sun4/260.
To recap, when xdm is running, the XATHORITY file passed into Xsetup_0
is as follows (and then an example of what it should be when things
are running with a user):

[4:4:304]root@repeat:/> xauth -f /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/A:0-000146 list
#ffff##: MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 9fecb54abbd8321697846da233f069ee
[4:3:303]root@repeat:/u/dgilbert> xauth -f .Xauthority list
repeat.pci.on.ca:0 MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 9fecb54abbd8321697846da233f069ee
repeat/unix:0 MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 9fecb54abbd821697846da233f069ee

Now... 'xconsole' runs from Xsetup_0 just fine --- it connects
properly and is happy. All of the other X applications I try,
including xscreensaver and xset, do not work --- complaning that
they're not authorized to connect to the server. I'm positive that I
got this X from the official NetBSD distribution site... so anyone
have any ideas?

Dave.
