First, I want to thank David Brownlee <david@mono.org> for the
bootable FS image he put up for FTP, it booted fine, and I've gotten
to the point where I copied over the base, comp, and etc tar balls
for the 1.2beta snapshot. (Of course I put an suitable disklabel
first 8-) I procedded to copy David's kernel to the new disk, and
attempt to boot, with the result being an Illegal Instruction being
executed quite quickly.

So I copied over the kernel sources from a June 10th SUP. I built
installboot, boot, and bootxx, and ran the binstall script. Now
the David's kernel boots to the point where it reports "root on
sd0a" and then all the keyboard lights flash, the disk arm swings
a bit, and nothing else, until I press L1-A 8-( I was going to
build a new kernel too, in case there was a problem starting
/sbin/init off or some other weirdness, but the sources I have
gripe about some sun4m cache stuff being undefined when I have the
straight GENERIC config file, and complain about _raise and something
in iommu.c being undefined when I take out the config sun4m option.

I'm updating my sources as I write this, but thought I'd ask if
anyone has any ideas?
