In my experience, it is less stable - but then, I track -current.  If
that damn VM/buffer cache coherency lose could get fixed, then I would
say that NetBSD/sparc releases (as opposed to -current) are better than
SunOS by almost any criterion.

As I recall, INN likes to mmap() a bunch of files.  If true, it will
run head-on into the cache coherency bug I alluded to above; you may
have to turn off use of mmap, if INN can be so configured, or switch to
some other news system, if not.

Probably, the answer is "yes".  Define what you mean by a virtual
interface and I can tell you more definitely.
