   PK and I have speculated that this might be partially related to the 
   device rejecting commands.  See the change I made to sd.c and cd.c to use 
   6-byte cdbs when possible.  This is pure speculation, of course.
   
   I'll try to build a SPARC 1.1p2 kernel someone soon ... p2 includes these 
   changes.
