please run "man compat_sunos", follow the instructions, and try
again.  i'm fairly sure that you have not set up a sunos emul
directory, given your comments about ld.so ...

if you still have problems after this, let us know.  i've been
running the beta3 and beta5 versions of netscape 2.0 "without
any problems", so, it _does_ work, at least for me  :)
