Something like the Solaris install would not be hard to implement from a
logistical standpoint.  We could do without all the bloat which comes
from having X/BrokenWindows/Slowtif running, but a text-based (curses/
ncurses) key-driven interface doesn't sound out of bounds at all.

...Or Did I oh never mind.
