OpenBSD? So let me ask everyone, how is it that a lot of NetBSD/sparc
users/developers are letting a _Linux_ person get them all worked up and
threatening to splinter?

Another interesting question, How come the NetBSD/sparc port is the only
one that has everyone arguing? The other ports _appear_ to be
functioning smoothly, and _productively_.

My recommendation:

Theo should provide core with a current snapshot of his sparc work.
Core and the sparc maintainer can integrate the snapshot, or evaluate
it, etc. If Theo is not happy with core's response, or core is not
impressed with Theo's work, then I guess nothing can be resolved. I
think it would be an excellent gesture of good faith for Theo to release
a snapshot, _and_ it is in the user communities best interest.
