I tried using the Jan 8 snapshot on 'lamp...all dynamically-linked 
executables die with a floating point exception.  yuk.  Since this is an 
initial install, I suppose I could always just use 1.0, but I'd rather not...

It's an SS1+ (8mb) -- any obvious reason for this that I'm missing?
