In XFree86 a test on the availability of SHM in the kernel was added
before initializing the MIT-SHM extension. So it get disabled if the
support is not in the current kernel.

I've applied without much pain the Xserver/hw/sun part of the X11R6 patch to
XFree86 and it compiles and works OK on NetBSD/sparc. 

This will be integrated in XFree86 3.1.1. so people working on both
i386 and sparc machine can share the XFree86 source tree between
machines.
