Thanks to all who wrote suggesting missing /dev files.
Sorry to say, thats not the problem ... I have created all the /dev files with
the '/dev/MAKEDEV all' command. Do I need more than 'all'?
Oh well, I am downloading the 1 Aug files from ftp.iastate.edu right now ...
