Hi,
I'm now running NetBSD/sparc on a SPARC1+ formerly running SunOS
4.1.3. I'm amazed than almost all Sun binaries run (Emacs crashes once
in a while). Thanks guys.
I am really curious about the LFS. Since I didn't repartition my disk,
I don't have any spare partitions, so I tried to use vnconfig for a
test of LFS.
Any attempts to newlfs -L /dev/[r]vnd0[c] fail saying that the
disklabel is not valid :-( (Of course it's not :-) ).
Labeling a vnd doesn't seem to work, either.
BTW, the same experiment with FFS also fails.
So, what is the state of LFS? Does it work at all? How can I make a
filesystem on a virtual disk?
Thanks for the help,
Dirk
