With Irix fading away, I think it would be good to whip up the COMPAT_IRIX 
support. Does anyone feel like whipping up a compat_irix(8) manpage 
similar the compat_svr4(8) etc. manpages, that describes how to get things 
going?

I guess thre are quite some pointers in Manu's articles, see 
http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/bsd/2002/08/08/irix.html and the other 4(?) 
parts.
