I don't know (since I never experienced that myself).

From my POV it seems that with -current (or 3.0) the machine runs just
fine, *but*

 - the SCSI driver does not work well with the CD drive (seems to work
   fine for the hard disk though)
 - no X server
 - no audio (I never tried to use it actually, so I might be misremembering
   this)
