Hello,

Sorry to ask again about that but I don't know where to go;
I posted http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-sgimips/2005/04/24/0001.html
about my problem but had no answer.
I tried to reach Chrisopher Sekiya at wileyc@rezrov.net but couldn't.

I followed Chrisopher's instructions in
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-sgimips/2003/11/13/0000.html
in order to create a bootable install CD for sgimips on my i386
running NetBSD 3.99.3.

# vnconfig vnd0 sgimips.img
# $TOOLDIR/bin/nbsgivol -i vnd0
File open: No such file or directory

It seems that my nbsgivol wants a real file,
so I tried to bypass the vnd pseudo-device
# $TOOLDIR/bin/nbsgivol -f -i sgimips.img
After completing the process decribed in
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-sgimips/2003/11/13/0000.html
my indy refuses to boot from the CD (illegal f_magic number).

Any help would be appreciated.
If my problem is not sgi-specific, please point me to the correct list.

Regards,
Thierry.
