Hi,

I just had a failed attempt at upgrading my Indigo2 using an 1.6ZI
kernel. The console log can be found below. Yes, I'm running the
almost-first boot-from-disk boot code on this system, so there's ample
debug informatin there.

The system appears to wedge shortly after trying to reinitialize (?)
the console tty. I thought the kernel wasn't supposed to mess with
the settings for that tty, but apparently "something" did. BTW, the
[BREAK] output is from the console program, and those were me trying
unsuccessfully to get in touch with DDB.

Anyone have an idea about what might be going on here? I've tried
looking at the source and CVS logs for a few of the involved files,
but I didn't find anything which leapt out at me as obviously related
to this problem. The previous kernel which ran successfully on this
system was built sometime on Jan 10, so not very long ago.

Regards,

- H=E5vard
