The SGI won't be using hardware flow control (if it did, it'd basically
lock up when the kernel message buffer fills up; that's something I have
to fix on i386 and Amiga, for starters), so it's usually easiest to just
wire the handshaking on the 9 pin end to provide signals to itself. So
that would mean wiring pins 1, 4, and 6 together.
