Hi,

I just try to install my first SGI (Indy) with NetBSD.

I solded a Mini-DIN8 to SUBD-9 cable. I did a nullmodem
(taking SGI's manual to connect to a PC serial device, then
applying some line swapping for a SUBD-9 to SUBD-9 nullmodem.

But strange: This does not work. If a add another "swapper"
to the cable, thus reversing some lines again, the serial console works.

I thought the serial console'd consider itself always as a DTE?
Doesn't it?
