Aw, nuts... I had a Challenge S R5K doing this... I replaced the
CPU with one from an INDY and it went away so I presumed the CPU
was faulty... I think I wasted a CPU board to the trash now :/

ANYWAYS, I had this very exact problem. At least I can presume
it isn't a bad cpu board.

The one in my Challenge S was an R5K, but it was one I hadn't seen
before; it had a tiny CPU cooling fan glues over the CPU chip instead
of a heatsink. The PC board read: CPU Triton INDY assy 030-0985-002
Rev B Copyright 1996.

I have an R4400 200MHZ Indy here as well, and it installs and runs
fine.

The short answer is: Somehow your (and my late one as well) CPU board is
choking the kernel. I would suspect some level of cache problem.

You can read a posting to the list I made yesterday to see how identical
the TLB MISS messages were. (or maybe that was early this morning...
Time has no meaning to me :)

Chris? Rafal? Bueller? Anyone have an idea?
