Hi!

I just did the following:

- using sgivol to write a boot loader to sd0
- reading the bootloader with sgivol
- diff both files -> no differences
- newfs /dev/sd0a
- read the bootloader with sgivol
- diff against the original -> differences

root@:/tmp > file boot.vorfsck
boot.vorfsck: ELF 32-bit MSB mips-1 executable, MIPS R3000_BE, version 1 MathCoPro/FPU/MAU Required (SYSV), statically linked, not stripped
root@:/tmp > file boot.nachfsck
boot.nachfsck: ELF 32-bit MSB mips-1 executable, MIPS R3000_BE, version 1 MathCoPro/FPU/MAU Required (SYSV), statically linked, stripped
root@:/tmp > ls -l boot.*fsck
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 256131 Oct 26 10:19 boot.nachfsck
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 256131 Oct 26 10:18 boot.vorfsck
root@:/tmp >

It seems to me as if my partitions are wrong.

I'll try ... Hendrik
