I now have DMA support working and it is *rock solid* against my stress
testing.  Have not attempted a make build on it yet

Some cleaning up is needed, which I will do over the weekend and
commit it in the current form.   My long term plans are to make the DMA
routines generic so they can be shared with other device drivers, and I'm
trying to make the WD33C93 driver more MI capable....

Stay tuned, you should see it commited in the next few days.

PS.  The sgimips port is not capable of writing disk labels at present,
     and needs an Irix label on the disk.  It is easy to solve, but may
     break backward compatability with Irix.   I think the trick may be to
     place a NetBSD style disklabel in the 2nd disk sector and maintain an
     Irix compatable label on the first sector - this is what is used by
     the NetBSD/mipsco port
