Our school purchased 12 O2's for the purpose of VR training. I got
one transferred to me, and would like to replace the IRIX 6.3 with
something more useful. I use the NetBSD VAX and PMAX ports at home, so
I'm familiar with the net booting, etc. I have been watching this list
for about three months hoping someone else would ask these questions,
but I can't wait anymore.
The information I need are not on the FAQ.

I need to know if the current systems are running with internal
video or serial console.

What are the recommended environment settings?

I've gotten to the pcierr with the internal video. (With dbaud set
to 38400) Should I be trying all this from a serial console?

macepci0 at mace0 offset 0x80000 intr 7: rev 1
panic: pcierr: 80180006 4004
Stopped in swapper at 0x800F74B4: jr ra

I tried both with and without audio-visual module. Everything else
is onboard.

        Thank you all,
