For the Soon factor, get an R5000 or RM5200 O2.

Do not buy anything older than R4K Indigo / Indy / Indigo2 class
machines, and if you aspire to run X in this life on one of those,
get an Indy with XL graphics.

If you have lots of money, there is some Linux code for IP27.
