Thanks Jeff, I received the email response via gnats just now, infact
two of them.
I'll get used to working around gnats I think.

NetBSD volunteers have my utmost respect, and its community is the
reason I as a Linux user for 20 years kept NetBSD in my radar.
I fought to deploy NetBSD 7.x back in 2016 for my last-last org as a
web server and for all I know it's still running. But I never got
around to using it for myself.
I bought this RISC-V board purely because I wish to dedicate a
specific portion of my professional effort/time to NetBSD on this
platform.

I've been coding in Perl/Python for a long time, and I'm learning C at
this moment, I'll be useful soon. :)
Let me know what I can provide in this issue's context going forward,
a dedicated risc-v metal running NetBSD would be dope, I'd deploy so
many microVMs on top of it. ;)
