FWIW, macppc native Xorg is mostly working for me right now. the only problem is my (usb) keyboard input is not quite working properly. xdm login gets me nothing. using "startx" gives ma single "9" and then doesn't move. but the mouse works OK and everything else, including running X -configure, worked just fine. .mrg.
