My fear with having port-specific stuff in separate majors files, is that they
will diverge again, thus requiring separate /dev's.  I'm actually thinking we
want a single majors.powerpc and everyone just uses that.

I'm willing to declare a flag day for prep.  As for bebox, mvmeppc, ofppc, none
of them really have users.  That mostly leaves the evbppc stuff, which I'm not
entirely sure what the status is as far as users.
