unknown IBM 405GP card

I hope this isn't too off-topic.

I've got a device (two of it actually) that I'm trying to figure out
how to use, and hopefully boot NetBSD or Linux on. It's a PCI card,
with an IBM PowerPC 405 GP processor with JTAG, a Radeon 7000/VE chip
with VGA and DFP connectors, USB, ethernet, an "umbilical port" and a
Xilinx Spartan. It negotiates an IP address by DHCP, and will respond
to telnet and http, but I haven't figured out the logins as of yet.
There's a battery I might try removing to see if that helps. (Risking
to lose it all?) There's a reset button, a green power LED and an error
LED blinking orange. I suppose that could be for all kinds of reasons.
I've got no cables, no documentation, and I don't know the name of the
device.

I've uploaded a few images and two dmesg dumps from the PC that is
hosting the card:
http://www.kirilla.com/405gp/

It's made by IBM and its makers James Dalton (eng), Jeff Davis (design)
and John Manolis (mech) are listed on the circuit board. Copyright
2003.

DHCP host name: ASMA00096B9E66
MAC address: 00-09-6B-9E-66-D3

Anyone recognize it ?
Anyone got any idea on how to use it?

Microsoft Windows recognizes the Radeon part and uses it,
but it's a shame to use this board as if it was a plain old graphics
card.

TIA,
Jonas Sundström. www.kirilla.com
