I am considering getting a faster system to run NetBSD on.
I am currently running an i486DX4/100 with AHA2940 and 64MB.
I am not impressed by INTELS handling of the Pentium
--they make too many mistakes!
I am thinking of getting a PPC 603 or PPC604 300/400. And I don't
want a Mac cube (such as the iMac). How do they compare with
the i486/586 for speed, can I get one in a tower chassis, and
where do I look for such a critter? Computer Shopper has been
failing terribly in this area. Any suggestions?
