There's a powerpc cross-compiler package in the NetBSD package
collection
(ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/cross/powerpc-netbsd/)
The Makefile and patches there might be useful to you even if you're
not building from a NetBSD system.
